noun
| \ ˈtid-ˌbit \variants: or less commonly titbit \ ˈtit-ˌbit \
Definition of tidbit
1: a choice morsel of food
2: a choice or pleasing bit (as of information)
This is the definition from the Merriam-Webster on-line dictionary. And while this isn’t “food” per se, it is a pleasing peek of the paintings just finished that I haven’t posted yet. The first is from the painting I’m calling Gatekeeper I. There will be a second Gatekeeper, I just haven’t done it yet.
Detail from Gatekeeper I
This tidbit is from the painting I’m calling Williamsburg Wigmaker.
If you can’t make it to the show in May at the Stewart Gallery, I will go back and post all of the paintings from the show.
I have two more I definitely want to complete for the May Show and then a raft of others that will just appear as I get them done between other projects.
COVID 19 has thrown a lot of folks for a loop. Staying home, food shortages, boredom, and generally questioning how we live our lives has caused a lot of folks to start looking at how to become more self-sustaining. This site will include a wide variety of things including how to cook from scratch (really, really scratch) and create a garden in hot & humid Virginia, our adventures in turning a shed into a chicken coop, and working with an old orchard that produces an abundance of ugly but perfectly edible fruit. And how to do all this with just two of us old geezers (I'll be 61 in June 2020 and my husband is older).
