I was invited Thursday to participate in a two-person show at the Stewart Gallery in Gloucester, VA in May!

I am deeply honored and very excited and scared to death all at the same time. The theme will be Colonial Williamsburg.

My partner in this event will be announced at a future date, but if it is the person they suggested is the one, I’m even more nervous, excited and proud for his work is extremely collectable (I, in fact, have one of his paintings!).

So, I must put my head down and get seriously to work on this project. I am aiming to complete 12 to 15 paintings by March with hopes that 10 will be acceptable for this show.

In the mean time, I have six students for a Beginner’s Oil Painting Class today and tomorrow at the RAL Art Center. I’m excited to get a whole new group hooked on this wonderful medium.
