Colonial Beach, Virginia is northwest of where I live. It’s about an hour’s drive from Burgess, VA. This year they are holding the First Annual Osprey Festival April 12-14, 2019 to celebrate the return of the Osprey.

I was invited to submit some of my bird paintings for an art show being hosted at one of the galleries there: The Jarrett-Thor Gallery now being run by the Colonial Beach Art Alliance. And I found out yesterday that both paintings were accepted! And neither one is an osprey, go figure.
