I’ve not sold any of the cat paintings yet. These are the ones I had hoped would help me raise some more money for the Northern Neck Animal Shelter. However, I did get a phone call yesterday. A woman from the Richmond area was visiting the RAL Art Center and saw my cat paintings and loved the paintings, but really wanted one that of her own cat. Perfectly understandable. The Art Center Day Manager put a call into me and the cat owner and I chatted for a few minutes. She said she would call me when she gets home. She seemed surprised that I would be willing to drive to Richmond to take photos of her cat, but since I go that way frequently for other things I did not see it as that big of an issue. Hopefully, she will get back in touch with me soon. Now to work up a commission contract of some sort….
