Hubby and I just returned from an overnight trip to Shenandoah National Park. He is on a mission to visit as many underground caverns as he can (although not the ones he might have to actually spelunk through to visit). Skyline Caverns was his target this time. I had hoped to catch Skyline Drive in full blast Fall color. But I believe we went a week or two too soon. So, instead of focusing on the foliage, I took reference photos of rocks and rock formations. I also took a few photos of little things on the “edges” that caught my eye.
I also played around in Photoshop as little to see if I could “save” an otherwise lost photo.
