Here is a start on the first cat painting. I’ll be painting it at the same time I’m working on the Great Blue Heron painting, so will probably switch back and forth on my posts.

This is the start of the painting. Looks really rough, doesn’t it? Just wait, it will get better, I promise. This painting is 6X6″.

This cat is called Callie at the shelter. She was extremely curious about the camera and came right up to check it out. She wasn’t overly interested in me until she found out I had a few treats to share. Once those were gone, she just relaxed and enjoyed her time in the play area. She is available for adoption at the Northumberland County Animal Shelter.
