I went down to the Northumberland County Animal Shelter on Wednesday to deliver the donation check and goodies from the Art Sale & Burn Party.

While there I started on my next project which is going to be a series of cat paintings. I think I will probably show the paintings in galleries first, then, if not sold there, take them to the animal shelter where they can show them to folks to love cats. If I sell the paintings, 10% of the proceeds will go to the animal shelter. If they sell, we can split the proceeds 50/50 which will cover at least the cost of doing the work for me.

In any case, I got a lot of great photos today of just a few of the cats they currently have in residence. If you have been thinking about adopting a cat or kitten, now it the time. The kittens, I’m given to understand, will be ready to go in about 2 weeks. The adults can go any time.
