Wytheville Adventure: Part V

Saturday, our last day at Page’s Farm, came much too soon. I missed my hubby terribly but there was still so many things I wanted to see and experience on the farm and in the Wytheville community. Fingers crossed that Page is able to find time to have us come back.

I forgot to mention in yesterday’s post that Friday evening, well, more like late afternoon, Lucy again set into a loud and frantic barking. This time we looked up just in time to see a very large black bear galloping up the hill behind the barn where I had walked earlier that day to take photos. First time for seeing a bear in the wild for me! I really had no idea how big they were or how fast they could move!

I did get in one more painting session Saturday morning and this time focused on the barn. But I stayed up near the house to paint it!
