Here is the newest in the bird series.

I’m working on a new 12X24″ painting of farm fields filled with canola flowers. Then,  I’m going back to the birds for a little while as I have some new photos I want to use. I’m hoping next week to get the kayak out for a bit and perhaps get even a few more.

I’ve been having lots of motivation to do at least one large farm painting this summer. The weather could not be much more perfect and the canola (rape seed) fields this year have been just stunning! 

And, as of May 4th my studio is officially listed on the Northern Neck Artisan Trail! Just call or text or email to make sure someone is home, but all are welcomed to come visit the studio.
