Went late yesterday morning into the early afternoon to the Kayak Launch at Windmill Point in Lancaster County, VA to paint. There are gorgeous views of the swamp as you drive down to this site, but all the property is privately owned and they are not happy to have visitors stopping to paint along the way. In addition, there isn’t room for pulling over on the side of the road. But the Kayak/Canoe Launch is a pretty nice location. We were fussed at my some geese, but no one else seemed to mind that we were there.

Here is the finished piece. Can you spot what I did once home?

I really like the trees. I sort of like the house and the sun beams across it. Love the water and the sky. the weeds out front of the house could use some work, I think… maybe.
