Carolina Chickadee

I love these little birds. Something about their little black caps and their quickness and cleverness just enchants me. Due to that they are sometimes tough to photograph. But I caught this one in the oak tree while he tried valiantly to peck open a sunflower seed.

This painting is a tad larger (mainly because the subject was a tad smaller and harder to capture) at 8X8″.
