Hubby and I got out in the vegetable garden this morning to do some fall clean up. I picked an armload of turnips and plan to have turnip greens with our porkchops tonight. We will eat the turnips themselves, roasted, on another night.
But I could not resist trying to paint one of these pretty root veggies. Discovered I had to move all my studio light around and then rearrange the stand and the easel before I could even get started. Pleased to report that I’m getting more life from my oils by freezing the closed palette when I’m done each day.
This would be a cute little painting for someone’s kitchen.
