I’m working on a painting, while not too large, is more complex than I originally anticipated. I took the original photo at the Fall Fiber Fest and Dog Trials in Montpelier Station the first weekend in October. In any case, here are the progress shots so far with the first being the working photo and the second being the block in.

Then a couple of days later I got back to it and got this far:

And now I’m at this point:

Pretty happy so far and you can see the dog coming out. I still have a ton of work to go and I have to be careful not to lose the dog’s face as I bring up the rest of it. .
