Finished another in my produce with glass series. I’m calling this “Dried Lemons” but considering changing the title to “Government Workers” as the fresh young lemon seems to be contemplating it’s future fate in my food dehydrator while those inside, already slice and dried and looking rather old, seem to be looking out.

This one feels more painterly to me as I got a bit looser with the drawing and application of pastel. I’m only going to list it for a week then pull it out of auction and put it in the Mid -Atlantic Pastel Society Small Works show coming up in November unless it sells this week.
