Here is another try of produce in oils. This one features half a yellow zucchini with a couple of green beans and an eggplant.

Looking at it in the photo, I’m thinking the color is off as the squash and beans appear to be floating a bit. Those shadows just are coming up dark enough there. Or maybe the photo is revealing something I could not see in the painting that needs to be fixed. Will study it later and see.

In any case, it’s another little one on a board, just 5X7″. Right now it’s up for auction here.
