Yeah, I know, I pick weird things to paint. Went down to the Deltaville Maritime Museum this morning and of all the beautiful landscape/sea scape/garden scenes I could I chosen to paint, I found this canvas covered boat outside the shipwrights shop and I just had to paint it.

This is a little one: 6 inches tall by 12 inches long. If you are interested in purchasing it, go here to bid.

It was fun and very challenging to chase shadows and dappled sunlight and paint large bit of white on a hot day. The mosquitos were biting and I was very grateful for my essential oil bug repellent from DoTerra. Once it was on, I didn’t even get a buzz!
