Salted Tomato

I planted 18 tomatoes this year. There are 6 heirloom tomatoes (two different kinds – 3 of each), and the rest were supposed to be plum tomatoes for canning. Well, something else snuck in there and I while I don’t know what it is; the tomatoes from it are wonderful and we have 6 of them. I’ll have to save seeds.

I’m calling this Salted Tomato because I don’t think there is anything tastier than a still warm from the sun, freshly picked tomato slice with just a sprinkle of salt.

Again, this was staged on my kitchen counter with the sun streaming in the window.
