Completed this yesterday. My mother is a wonderful gardener and planted a couple of acres of her property here with azaleas, hydrangeas and other beautiful flowering shrubs and flower beds. I took some photos while they were in bloom this year. I have several photos I want to turn into paintings, but this one got dibs. It’s on a cradled board and I did not stain it prior to starting to paint as I really wanted to avoid dulling down the whites.
